Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Gateway National Recreation and Fire Island National Seashore. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Jenkinson's Boardwalk. Millennium Park and Grosse Point Lighthouse will appeal to history buffs. Get some cultural insight at The Art Institute of Chicago and Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago.
