Separated by water from the neighboring city of Miami, Miami Beach sits on a barrier island between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
Get a sense of the local culture at Lincoln Road and Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at South Beach and Haulover Beach Park. Step out of Miami Beach to go to Aventura and see Aventura Mall, which is approximately 34 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: admire the landmark architecture of Art Deco Historic District, shop like a local with Bayside Marketplace, wander the streets of Collins Avenue, and contemplate the long history of The Barnacle Historic State Park.

Big Pine Key is a census-designated place and unincorporated community in Monroe County, Florida, on an island of the same name in the Florida Keys. You can fly from Key West to Orlando in 4.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of shuttle and train. Traveling from Key West in July, plan for slightly colder nights in Orlando, with lows around 28°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 31st (Mon) so you can go by car to Siesta Key.

Siesta Key draws most of its visitors with soft, white-quartz sand beaches and translucent ocean water.
