Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
Kids will enjoy Disneyland Park and Griffith Observatory. Go for a jaunt from Los Angeles to Anaheim to see Disney California Adventure Park about 40 minutes away. Pack the 11th (Mon) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Studios Hollywood. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Getty Center The Publications, explore the fascinating underground world of Bronson Caves, and take a leisurely stroll along Santa Monica Pier.
