San Francisco is a top holiday destination featuring scenic beauty and great ethnic and cultural diversity.

Carmel-by-the-Sea, often simply referred to as Carmel, is a city in Monterey County, California, United States, founded in 1902 and incorporated on October 31, 1916. Start off your visit on the 3rd (Fri): look for gifts at The Cheese Shop, then immerse yourself in nature at Point Lobos State Reserve, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at San Carlos Cathedral, and finally take a leisurely stroll along Old Fisherman's Wharf. On your second day here, contemplate the long history of Cannery Row, get to know the fascinating history of Pacific Grove Oceanview Boulevard, and then stroll through Carmel City Beach/Carmel River Beach.
