Once the booming capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom, the tropical paradise of Lahaina still remains one of Maui's top vacation attractions, providing both culture and recreation.
Step off the beaten path and head to Parasailing & Paragliding and Zipline. Get out of town with these interesting Lahaina side-trips: Kihei (Scuba & Snorkeling & Dolphin & Whale Watching) and Haleakala Crater (in Haleakala National Park). There's much more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Ka'anapali Beach, make a trip to Lahaina Banyan Court, and admire nature's wide array of creatures at Maui Ocean Center.

Thanks to its favorable location near a mountain range blocking the northeasterly trade winds, Kailua-Kona gets little rainfall, allowing adventure seekers and nature lovers a chance to enjoy over 300 days of sunshine each year.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Kealakekua Bay and Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kailua-Kona: Honaunau Bay (in Honaunau), Waipio Valley Lookout (in Honokaa) and Puukohola National Historic Park (in Kawaihae). Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
On the 3rd (Tue), get interesting insight from Tours and then take in breathtaking views at Lower Antelope Canyon. On the 4th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: Head underground at Water Holes Canyon, then hike along Horseshoe Bend, and then explore the stunning scenery at Antelope Canyon.

Custer

Generally considered to be the oldest town established by European Americans in the Black Hills, Custer began as a mining town.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Wade's Gold Mill and Harney Peak. Change things up with these side-trips from Custer: National Presidential Wax Museum (in Keystone), Roberts Prairie Dog Town (in Badlands National Park) and Brule (in Hill City). There's much more to do: delve into the lush surroundings at Black Hills, explore the activities along Legion Lake, contemplate the long history of Peter Norbeck Visitors Center, and hike along Cathedral Spires Hiking Trail.

You can do a combination of car, flight, and taxi from Page to Custer in 9.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. Traveling from Page in July, expect Custer to be a bit cooler, temps between 31°C and 14°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 10th (Tue) so you can travel to Gatlinburg.

Nestled in the lush, wooded forests of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg is Tennessee’s premier mountain resort destination.

Located just 140 km (90 mi) from Cuba, Key West is an island only about 6.4 km (4 mi) long and 1.6 km (1 mi) wide.
Step off the beaten path and head to Stand-Up Paddleboarding and Scuba & Snorkeling. Step out of Key West to go to Big Pine Key and see National Key Deer Refuge, which is approximately 50 minutes away.
