Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Dedicate the 11th (Wed) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's much more to do: take in the exciting artwork at Chihuly Garden and Glass, stroll through Discovery Park, take in nature's colorful creations at Bellevue Botanical Garden, and examine the collection at The Museum of Flight.
