Best known as the home of Princeton University, the town of Princeton centers around the Ivy League school and its stone, vine-covered buildings.
Explore Princeton's surroundings by going to Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library (in Winterthur), Tyler Arboretum (in Media) and Longwood Gardens (in Kennett Square). Pack the 8th (Thu) with family-friendly diversions at Sesame Place. There's lots more to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Grounds For Sculpture, admire all the interesting features of Princeton University, take in the history at Valley Forge National Historical Park, and try to win big at Sands Casino.

For maps, traveler tips, reviews, and other tourist information, refer to the Princeton vacation planner.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major airports are Newark Liberty International Airport, Philadelphia International Airport, John F Kennedy International Airport and La Guardia Airport. In March, daily temperatures in Princeton can reach 12°C, while at night they dip to 0°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel back home.
