Nantucket is an island about 30mi by ferry south from Cape Cod, in the American state of Massachusetts. On the 5th (Sat), see the interesting displays at Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum, then enjoy the sea views from Brant Point Lighthouse, then take in nature's colorful creations at Oldest House (Jethro Coffin House), and finally examine the collection at Whaling Museum. Keep things going the next day: stroll through Tom Nevers, enjoy the sea views from Sankaty Head Lighthouse, and then identify plant and animal life at Coskata-Coatue Wildlife Refuge.

Getting from New York City to Nantucket by flight takes about 4 hours. Other options: do a combination of bus and ferry; or do a combination of train, bus, and ferry.
