Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
You'll get in some beach time at Venice Beach and Boardwalk and Santa Monica Beach. Visit Santa Monica Pier and Hollywood Forever Cemetery for their historical value. Explore Los Angeles' surroundings by going to Manhattan Beach (in Manhattan Beach) and Hermosa Beach Pier (in Hermosa Beach). There's still lots to do: immerse yourself in nature at Will Rogers State Beach, appreciate the history behind Watts Towers, and kick back and relax at Cabrillo Beach.
