Mobile is the county seat of Mobile County, Alabama. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Mobile: Fairhope (Fairhope Roasting Company & Fairhope Avenue), Bellingrath Gardens and Home (in Theodore) and Fort Gaines (in Dauphin Island). There's still lots to do: admire all the interesting features of Battleship USS ALABAMA, get to know the fascinating history of Church Street Historic District, admire the striking features of Historic Oakleigh House, and enjoy some diversion at Hank Aaron Stadium.

The three historical districts of Huntsville are tucked amid the lush greenery of nearly 60 parks within the city limits.
Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Huntsville: Unclaimed Baggage Center (in Scottsboro) and Cathedral Caverns State Park (in Woodville). Traveling by combination of taxi and flight from Orange Beach to Huntsville takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and flight; or drive. Traveling from Orange Beach in September, expect a bit cooler with lows of 21°C in Huntsville. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Tue) to allow time to drive to Birmingham.
