Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
On the 20th (Fri), see the interesting displays at The Mob Museum and then admire the majestic nature at Valley of Fire State Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: examine the collection at The Neon Museum, then take an in-depth tour of Titanic, and then don't miss a visit to The Strip.

Traveling by flight from San Francisco to Las Vegas takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and bus. In April, Las Vegas is a bit warmer than San Francisco - with highs of 80°F and lows of 57°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 22nd (Sun) to allow time for the car ride to Sedona.

Despite its relatively small size, Sedona overflows with tourist appeal.
Get a sense of the local culture at Montezuma Castle National Monument and Exposures International Gallery. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Cathedral Rock and Oak Creek Canyon. There's still lots to do: take a memorable drive along Red Rock Scenic Byway (SR 179), make a trip to Sedona Airport Overlook, relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, and trek along Devil's Bridge Trail.

Getting from Las Vegas to Sedona by car takes about 5.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of bus and train. The time zone changes from Pacific Standard Time to Mountain Standard Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. Plan for little chillier temperatures traveling from Las Vegas in April, with highs in Sedona at 72°F and lows at 49°F.
