Kick off your visit on the 16th (Mon): examine the collection at Museum of Northern Arizona, then immerse yourself in nature at Riordan Mansion State Historic Park, and then gain insight at Northern Arizona University.

Getting from Cottonwood to Flagstaff by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: take a bus. While traveling from Cottonwood, expect a bit cooler days and much colder nights in Flagstaff, ranging from highs of 63°F to lows of 32°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel to Mesa Verde National Park.
