Divided into neighborhoods with distinct characters and cultural heritages, San Diego sits just north of the Mexican border and offers visitors a blend of tourist attractions, including a lively nightlife, diverse cuisine, and a thriving musical scene.
Get outdoors at La Jolla Cove and Mission Beach Park. Go for a jaunt from San Diego to Encinitas to see Self-Realization Fellowship Hermitage about 32 minutes away. Pack the 4th (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at SeaWorld San Diego. There's lots more to do: immerse yourself in nature at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, get in on the family fun at Belmont Park, tour the pleasant surroundings at Sunset Cliffs, and meet the residents at San Diego Zoo.

Start off your visit on the 5th (Thu): take a leisurely stroll along Santa Monica Pier, identify plant and animal life at Santa Monica Beach, then get to know the fascinating history of Venice Canals Walkway, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Venice Beach and Boardwalk. On the 6th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at Getty Center The Publications, admire the landmark architecture of Walt Disney Concert Hall, and then kick back and relax at Hermosa Beach Pier.

Massive granite mountains, towering waterfalls, groves of Giant Sequoia trees, and wilderness as far as the eye can see distinguish the landscape of Yosemite National Park.
Step out of the city life by going to Glacier Point and Sentinel Dome. Step out of Yosemite National Park to go to Lee Vining and see Tioga Rd, which is approximately 52 minutes away. There's much more to do: hike along Tuolumne Meadows, take in the dramatic scenery at Vernal Fall, explore the activities along Tenaya Lake, and stroll through Wawona Meadow.
