For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Get some cultural insight at Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum and Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art. Visit Andy Romano Beachfront Park and Ormond Beach for some beach relaxation. Change things up with these side-trips from Orlando: Boxelder (in Sanford), Beach at Daytona Beach (in Daytona Beach) and Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens (in Port Orange). Have a day of magic on the 27th (Tue) at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
