A rapidly growing city in central North Carolina, Charlotte is the state's largest urban center and a major regional hub for finance, industry, technology, and entertainment.
On the 15th (Wed), see the interesting displays at Billy Graham Library, then steep yourself in history at President James K. Polk State Historic Site, and then steep yourself in history at Brattonsville Historic District. On the 16th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in nature's colorful creations at UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens, get outside with The Green, and then see the interesting displays at NASCAR Hall of Fame.
