For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Shop till you drop at Disney Springs and World of Chocolate Museum & Cafe. Attractions like Walt Disney World Resort and Magic Kingdom Park make great kid-friendly stops. When in Orlando, make a side trip to see Stetson Mansion in DeLand, approximately 1 hour away. Pack the 21st (Thu) with family-friendly diversions at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Have a day of magic on the 22nd (Fri) at Disney's Animal Kingdom. There's lots more to do: get in on the family fun at Universal Orlando Resort, discover the magic at Epcot, meet the residents at SeaWorld Orlando, and try out the rides at Happily Ever After Fireworks.

Holding the record for most consecutive days of sunshine in a single year, Clearwater offers long sandy beaches and proximity to other major cities in the Tampa Bay area.
Take a break from the city and head to Clearwater Beach and Madeira Beach. Shop till you drop at John's Pass Village and Boardwalk and Tyrone Square. Step out of Clearwater to go to St. Pete Beach and see Saint Pete Beach, which is approximately 46 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: head off the coast to Caladesi Island State Park, take in the waterfront at Pier 60, enjoy the sand and surf at Sunset Beach, and admire the majestic nature at Honeymoon Island State Park.

Traveling by car from Orlando to Clearwater takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus.
