Home of the Hershey Chocolate Company, the town of Hershey is regularly referred to as the sweetest place on earth.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Mon): take an in-depth tour of National Civil War Museum, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick, then see the interesting displays at Antique Automobile Club of America Museum, and finally examine the collection at The Hershey Story Museum.

Atlanta to Hershey is an approximately 6-hour combination of flight and bus. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Atlanta in April, expect Hershey to be a bit cooler, temps between 63°F and 43°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Tue) early enough to go by car to Gettysburg.

Located near the memorial park marking the site of one of the largest Civil War battles, the town of Gettysburg sits in a landscape of rolling green hills with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance.
On the 3rd (Tue), get engrossed in the history at Jennie Wade House, stroll through Gettysburg National Military Park, get engrossed in the history at Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center, then take an in-depth tour of Shriver House Museum, and finally explore the different monuments and memorials at Gettysburg National Cemetery.

Traveling by car from Hershey to Gettysburg takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In April in Gettysburg, expect temperatures between 64°F during the day and 44°F at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Lancaster.
