Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Start off your visit on the 14th (Fri): shop like a local with Pike Place Market and then admire the masterpieces at Chihuly Garden and Glass.

Astoria, named for famed fur trader John Jacob Astor, resides near the mouth of the Columbia River.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Sat): immerse yourself in nature at Ecola State Park and then kick back and relax at Cannon Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 16th (Sun): pause for some photo ops at Astoria Column, then contemplate the waterfront views at Columbia River Maritime Museum, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Long Beach.
