  • Seems like a great place to meet friends. Quirky market with some very nice-looking food places. I saw couples, and families with their children and pets there. Intimate version of Ponce City Market. ...  more »

  • The Krog street market is a neat place to visit. It's a little out from Downtown. Just a heads up, we had to pay for parking. It's worth stopping by.  more »

  • Great selection of local eats and vendors selling artisan crafts, soap, etc. It's basically a kick ass local food court! can get very busy during lunch hours and on the weekend. There is some valet parking but it's usually best park for free on the streets in the surrounding blocks. You could go here multiple times and always try a different and unique restaurant. Absolutely no lame big name chains like McDonald's or Subway.
  • I remember when they first started the market... I used to bike there when it was still mostly under construction and pick up a pastry or beer. Since then it's flourished and grown. Check out their website for a list of vendors or just go on an adventure and find out. Great place for a first date. Little known fact is that right down the street there's a heavenly little shop called Juliana's crepes. If you go during a high traffic time and want a quieter place to eat within walking distance, go here and you won't regret it. Don't forget to stop by the antique shop on the way ;)
  • One of several food halls in the area. There are a number of great restaurant choices. Plus the beer place. It is extremely popular and gets crowded so you may have an extended wait if you do not plan ahead. Parking is a PITA. I recommend walking of possible. They did a great job of maintaining the bones of the original building and some of its character. The other downside with Krog Street Market is that it is overpriced. The quality is good but the you overpay for what you get. On a nice day you can enjoy the outdoor seating at one of the restaurants if you do but want to be cooped up indoors.
  • Very crowded during the weekend. Lots of seating option though and good food. They also have nice stations for water throughout. The staff was very attentive to keeping the areas clean
  • I stumbled upon the market on my way out of town and enjoyed the discovery. It was during the lunch hour, so a lot of people crowded the common seating area, but even with the numbers, it wasn't too noisy. They offer a variety of food, and I chose Fred's, which was tasty. I liked the shaded, outdoor seating options. Parking was tough, but I'd still recommend it.
