Spanning 120 hectares (290 acres), Six Flags Over Georgia is host to a wide array of rides, family-friendly attractions, and a water park. Thrill seekers should head for the Goliath roller coaster to experience a drop of 20 stories at 113 km/h (70 mph). The ride routinely ranks among the top steel roller coasters as rated by Amusement Today. There is plenty for children and the less adventurous to enjoy too, such as a carousel tower and bumper cars. Cool off in the 2.8 hectare (7 acre) tropical-themed water park, boasting a giant wave pool, super-fast slides, and a kids' playground. Check the schedule for live entertainment shows. With our world travel planner, Austell attractions like Six Flags Over Georgia can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

Six Flags Over Georgia Reviews
SFOG is a great place to spend a fun day with your family and friends. The part is clean, safe, and has lots of options for all ages to enjoy. Buy your tickets ahead of time (look for deals or coupons... more »
I took my fiance for her birthday we had a great time. It was not crowded and we didn't have to wait long to ride everything. more »
Love the park, love the atmosphere. Six Flags is a great way to spend a day with the family. There are lots of different types of rides and games for all age groups. If you are only able to go once a year it may seem expensive for a day, if you can go even a few times a year season passes, memberships, and dining passes make it a very inexpensive way to spend family time. I particularly enjoy going in early spring and late fall and winter, the lines are shorter and the cool weather is just right for walking through the park. I also recommend a visit during Holiday in the Park, dress warm, enjoy the hot beverages and check out the lights.
Customer Service sucks. Rides are constantly being shut down or aren't operational at all. Food stands give disproportionate amounts of food. My sister received more food for the same food option then I did at the exact same food stand. The cashiers preferred cleaning the counters instead of taking orders and when asked if she was taking orders she replied,"after I get done wiping the counters,". Mind you she wipe her area and another area plus she had a conversation . As a consumer I expect to be treated with respect at an establishment. Six Flags train your staff better. Get a better managerial staff and understand this is a business where people pay a lot for the experience not for the hassle.
MORE LIKE 3.7/5. Is the park showing its age? Yes, 110%. Please repaint or refinish some of the rides. BUT are the rides a ton of fun? Yes, some of my favorites ever. My biggest gripe though was the age of Superman, and by extension, Justice League references. If you have rights to them, please, please update all the comic book references around the Hall of Justice and Superman ride. They seem stuck in the late 90s, early 2000s.. the artwork is aged, stories and characters are dated.
2.5 stars The rides are fun, easily a 4 star park The problem was today 3/18/18, I kid you not Batman, Scorcher, Superman, Scream Machine, Blue Hawk and the Drop Tower all closed at least once while we were waiting. We were able to come back and do the rest except Batman. I don't know if this happens often but no theme park I have ever been to closed rides this many times due too "technical difficulties"
Long lines, told me to take my face paint off during Halloween, photos they take aren't that good. Candy along with treats aren't too gourmet and over priced. No fresh fruit or smoothie options. No face drawers or clowns with balloons. All outside games you have to pay for but come with toy if your lucky. No bubbles in the air. Themes aren't too set. Not enough classic games like ball games or regular park here and there to help lines and ones with babies relax. Not clear what to do, no visible signs when you first get there so it's a bit over whelming.
