Hold onto your hats as you take the plunge on the world’s first looping roller coaster at Knott's Berry Farm. Originally a small California berry farm, the amusement park features over 65 hectares (160 acres) of thrill rides, water attractions, and games and arcades, spread throughout six themed areas. Speed down rushing rapids at almost 3.6 m (12 ft) per second on the Timber Mountain Log Ride or enjoy panoramic views of the park and surrounding area from 55 m (180 ft) up in the air on the Sky Cabin ride. Fast track tickets are available for an extra charge if you’d like to avoid long wait times for rides. Knott's Berry Farm Reviews
I hadn’t been here in over 20 years, and it was just as magical as I remember it. From the respectable wait times to the great staff and service , we all had a great time. Considering what Disney char... more »
Good place to visit with the kids, They had some big time roller coasters and the lines were no outrageous. We bought the Fast Lane upgrade and went to the front of the line each and every time. I rec... more »
A great fun filled amusement park for kids and adults. We went there for the first time a month ago with friends and 2 5 year old. The rides were amazing with not too much waiting time. The food options were also good. They parking was well organized. Or kids liked it so much that we ended up upgrading to an annual pass. We are going back next week to have fun again.
A lot of fun for the price! Even though it's spring break, a lot of rides had short lines. The only two lines that were long were Ghost Rider and Silver Bullet. Food was good, but I was disappointed the pizza place on the boardwalk was closed. They have really good gluten free pizza for an amazing price. Ended up with pulled BBQ pork at the Boardwalk Cafe which was good, but not the pizza I was so looking forward to having. I got my picture with Snoopy. The lady with him wasn't the nicest or the most patient (I had left my bag on the bench in line;she told me to leave one way and when I didn't go that way she got upset. I told her I needed to get my bag.) Snoopy was really nice. I'd you'd want the pressed pennies they're all together in Ghost Town. Good selection; I had a hard time choosing. My 13 year old daughter loved it!
Since I was a little kid (I'm 47 now) I have been going to Knott's Berry Farm. The memories I made with my parents I have passed on to my children and this park is built for memories. Knott's has rides for all ages and don't forget the original log ride (at least in California). If you plan wisely you can go on days where the crowd is reasonable to light and enjoy a stress free adventure. The price is awesome and Cedar Fair Parks (the operating company) does a great job making it family friendly. If you are going to California it's totally worth the visit. I also recommend Knott's restaurant but you don't have to dine in...you can get it to go and feed the family for around $50. Knott's will let you bring the food into the park and you can eat at their tables in Ghost Town area. Also buy the refillable souvenir drink and everyone can be happy.
Knott's has been around for a while, and they have really stepped up their game to keep the place fresh and modern for the new generation. I was recently surprised when coming to the park after a few years with my own kids, how clean and well kept the condition of the park is, and how much thought was put into redesigning Camp Snoopy. I hate to make the comparison, but it feels like Disneyland in a lot of ways. Season passes are very reasonably priced which is nice for us and the kids to be able to come frequently even just for a few hours. The restrooms are above average clean and the staff are happy and helpful. I've always liked Knott's, but it's so cool to see it becoming better and cleaner! All the new rides they've built or are building seem to be well designed and thought out.
Nice amusement park, park was clean and was not crazy packed liked Disney. Most of the park is decorated like an old western, but very nice. 3 years old son enjoyed the old western theme. The food was amazing, their fried chicken was delicious, but by far their boisonberry jam and dressing were amazing! If anything go eat at their restaurant which is outside the theme park for was great.... Only downside to us was the hours, park closes pretty early compared to other theme parks so we missed out on several things mainly because we took our time. But overall a great place to visit and eat!
