  • Overall a nice place to ski. My two kids (12 & 11) and I all took lessons - we were very satisfied with the level of instruction and personalized attention given to us. It would be nice to have a sledding area for family members who decide skiing just isn't for them. (My daughter wasn't too keen on the idea of snow-skiing, but she gave it a chance, ultimately decided it just wasn't for her.... Unfortunately there was nothing else there for her to do while my son and I skied; thank goodness she brought a book!)
  • As a first time skier, this place has it all. You may want to get your rental equipment elsewhere, if possible, as their skis are not properly waxed, but their green slopes are perfect for beginners, and their blue slopes are fine for a beginner after a first day. The restaurant was clean, friendly and fast with fine food and the beer was cheap. All in all, a great first ski adventure.
  • A nice little gem of a ski hill. They put on a free Easter egg hunt for the kiddos that our daughter enjoyed. The runs aren't very long, but neither are the lines! It's the closest ski area to us, so for a very affordable, fun day of skiing, no traffic, and decent skiing, we'll definitely be back!
  • Great mountain for what it is. Very cheap. Not big, the runs are fairly short but it's under $50 and never crowded. We were there today and someone told us it was very "crowded". We never waiting more than a couple minutes in a lift line and were able to find a table in the lodge for lunch. I am an intermediate to advanced skier and wad able to do every run on the mountain without a problem, so if you're looking for challenging terrain this isn't your mountain.
  • Modest ski area that boasts short lift lines and reasonably priced tickets. The runs are shorter and have less vertical drop than the Colorado resorts I'm accustomed to riding. There are a lot of cat walks which made it tough as a snowboarder. However, the trade-off of not driving I-70 and going broke on a ticket is well worth it!
