  • This is a very scenic spot. We sat on one of the swings and enjoyed the nice breeze off the water. It was a pleasant escape from the Charleston Heat!!!  more »

  • Nice waterfront park to walk around and enjoy the day. There's bench swings if you just want to hang around and take in the view. Water taxi at the end of the pier. Nice view of the bridge. Nice water fountain/soaking/playing area. Beautiful flower bed. Cute shops in the area too.
  • This park is great. It has two piers you can walk out on and see the ocean. I saw dolphins playing and other great wildlife. It has a fountain you wade in just as long as you follow the long list of common sense rules. It's a block away from great Charleston walking ways leading up and down famous Charleston streets. If you are in town or just moved here check this place out. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
  • The views are gorgeous and the park is clean. Everything looked clean and well kept. It's an excellent place to go and kill some time reading or walking around since it is in such close proximity to the main shopping strip and restaurants of downtown Charleston. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the swings on the pier and if you walk out to the edge you can watch for dolphins jumping up from the water. My main complaint was the excessive amount of construction fencing and whatnot for whatever current renovations are going on. It definitely detracts from the beautiful area.
  • Great for pictures. Huge tourist attraction near the market place. Pier to enjoy the harbor. Plenty of benches. Pineapple water fountain to dip your feet in, and huge circular totem type things you can stand on that makes your voice echo.. this area is great for family occasions..
  • We visit here several times per year as we have family living on the same block as Waterfront Park. My wife and kids were here for the eclipse. They had our dog with them. This is a great place for pets. Killer views of the Charleston Harbor. Water taxi drop off and pick up here. Great running trail. Nice, quiet, shaded benches for reading and relaxing. Cruise ship takes out here so there is a great mix of people from all different parts of the world.
