  • The Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is an 83-acre botanic garden, with extensive collections of rare tropical plants. I truly love this place. Anytime I want to just get away from the city and to disconnect. It is a beautiful and relaxing experience. They have a wide variety of tropical plants, a butterfly garden, an orchid trail and a fruit garden. They have lots of sculptures as well and a butterfly garden. Great place for a picnic. I give Fairchild Botanical Gardens 5 stars since its a beautiful place. Definitely worth visiting.
  • One of my favorite places in Miami. Come here often to walk, bird watch, and explore the gardens. They often have festivals and a plant sale twice a year with many unique plants. I recently took a botanical Illustration class here taught by Donna Torres. It was a lot of fun and I feel like my watercolor skills improved so much. A must visit place for locals as well as tourist!
  • great place to spend most of the day. The gardens are enormous. They told me about 83 Acres. There is tons of variety and plenty of Green Space. We came about one month after Hurricane Irma. Fantastic job cleaning up and bringing the place back to normal. Some of the highlights The Edible Garden The cafe is fantastic Several beautiful lakes Nice gift shop Indoor tropical garden is amazing Butterfly garden is also fantastic Only complaint, the map was confusing the map was confusing and the placards around the park are no help.
  • Perfect way to disconnect from the city for a bit...It was a very beautiful and relaxing experience. You can either walk by yourself or get a free bus tour with other visitors. You can also ask for a free ride from one part of the garden to another. The staff is incredibly adorable! In my opinion it is a little bit pricey but definitely worth it for nature lovers!
  • If you are a nature lover, my advice is to become a member of this botanical garden. By doing so, you can visit it every time you like, and even more, have free admission or discounts to around 300 botanical gardens in USA, Canada, and other islands. In this garden, the most attractive area is the orchids forest, beside of rare butterflies pavilion.
