  • A visit to Longwood Gardens always leaves me feeling as if I have been on vacation. The Conservatory transports me to multiple warm, scenic venues on cold or rainy days. I can imagine myself in a tropical paradise, a manicured country garden or a desert oasis. Can't wait for the flower walk in the spring, the cool woodland path in the summer and the meadow in the fall. And nobody does Christmas like Longwood. Love, love, love this place.
  • Great historical place. Great access all around the lot. Lots of parking, and shuttles will bring you there. Everything is navigable by foot, which is very handy. Good food options at the diner, and the train exhibits will keep the kids interested. This is a very nice place for great memories and great times with everyone that comes.
  • If I could give 6 stewards I would! This is an amazing place. Plan to visit as long as you can, west comfortable shoes and appropriated clothes to be outside. If it rains or is too cold there is always the conservatorium. That is converted and set nice temperature. I didn't see the fountain show but seems yup bee great too. You can get a stamp to exit and re enter the same day. That can bee good to goo easy somewhere else but there are restaurants in the gardens or bring a sandwich. Enjoy your visit!
  • We are members. I have lived here my whole life and am proud to be a member here. The shows are great. The horticulture is unmatched and the service is so friendly. To walk the entire grounds will take hours. There are trails that go all over. The newest addition, the prairie, is gorgeous. If you can, eat there as well. The food, even at the cafeteria is fantastic. Bring some money for the gift shop, as it has a wonderful collection of plants, memorabilia, clothing, books, photos & so many other fun things. Members get a 10% discount at the gift shop. Parking is huge, but the lot will be full on holidays. Be prepared to park across route 1 and be shuttle bussed to the location on busy days. Handicap parking in always in front of the main entrance. They do rent electric riders for those who are handicaped.
  • Beautiful property. It's over 1077 acres of area filled with varieties of plants, majestic fountains and meadows. We went for the Orchid Extravaganza. The orchids have amazing colours and forms. They have an ongoing Winter Blues festival (March 3-25). One can enjoy the live music every Saturday. Best time to visit is during summer.
