The living history museum offers hourly tours, performances, and interactive activities at each of its seven separate villages that represent different Polynesian cultures. Take a leisurely canoe tour of the lagoon and surrounding villages, or attend an award-winning Ali'i Luau to experience traditional Hawaiian food and a fire show. Don’t miss the Hā--Breath of Life show to see more than 100 people perform the Samoan fire-knife dance. Catch a bus to the center to avoid the steep parking fees. • Entire family enjoyed this experience. The tour bus picked us up from our hotel in Waikiki, did some stops along the way and dropped us at the center and returned to pick us up that night. The guided ...  more »
  • This was one of the best parts of our vacation. We bought the Super Ambassador Luau Package and it was worth every penny. Some people might look and think it is too much to spend but I would disagree....  more »

  • We signed up for the Ambassador tour and got more than we ever could have imagined. The staff really make you feel like family, they are open and welcoming. They do a phenomenal job of making sure you feel familiar with the countries and culture that they are representing. The Luau was the most interesting and it helped that we were sitting with people who had done it before as it is very busy and hectic when you are seated as they are bringing everyone in as quickly as possible. The humor and welcoming environment helps you feel comfortable to ask questions and learn. We would definitely do this again and would plan to spend more than the afternoon/evening. They offer free returns for 3 days and we wish we had scheduled it earlier in our trip to take advantage of that option.
  • What a Great place to visit, my wife and I didn't find it till our last day. We had a awesome Hawaiian Luau there! We ate early at 4pm because were from the east coast. Then we walked around the Cultural center for a period of time. The Cultural Center is huge, they have canoe rides and different shows from the Polynesian Islands. They have other restaurants there that are reasonably priced. Then they had there one of a kind Luau show from 7 to 9pm. They don't allow pictures or videos of it, but I guarantee its a 5 🌟 show you don't want to miss.
  • Had a fantastic time! The center itself is fabulous, so much work went into making each village. The shows in the villages were fantastic! The luau was good but I didn't love that the last 20 minutes of it was dedicated to people celebrating weddings and birthdays. I would have liked more authentic dancing. The breath of fire was the most amazing experience ever. I was entertained the entire 90 minutes. I would recommend this experience to anyone!!!
  • Walking around the villages was amazing, everyone was so kind and the culture and demonstrations were fantastic. We had dinner at the massive luau but I was really unimpressed with the food. Seriously, don't do it. While the live performers and MC were fantastic the food was bland and lacking serious flavor. I enjoyed food truck food more. You sit with strangers usually and the MC will call you on stage to dance (; there is no alcohol at these events. Everyone who works there was kind and helpful. Whatever you do, go see The Breath Of Life! It's the best musical play I have ever seen and I would seriously say they should go on tour. You're not allowed to video tape or take pictures during that performance which is around 7:30. But man! I would have bought a DVD of it because it was that good! It's about a full days events, if you could I would say- walk around, enjoy the lovely sights, go to dinner somewhere else, come back for the show stopping performance!
  • We wish we had more time at the Polynesian Cultural Center! Our guide was amazing and brought us to 5 different Polynesian island villages. There was lots of entertainment at each village and it helped you to feel fully immersed in the Polynesian culture. I learned so much and had so much fun! The Luau was fantastic as well as the show at the end of the night! I highly recommend the Polynesian Cultural Center as a must-see on your visit to Oahu!
