Bellagio Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas

#2 of 68 in Casinos in Las Vegas
Among the gaudy kitsch of the Las Vegas Strip, Bellagio Hotel and Casino stands out with its elegant style. Before entering the combined hotel, casino, and resort, pause to admire the main 36 story tower, and watch a fountain show featuring 1,200 jets blasting water as high as 140 m (460 ft ), synchronized to music. As you enter the lobby, look up and admire the more than 2,000 colorful blown-glass flowers, designed by Dale Chihuly. Points of interest include a conservatory and botanical gardens featuring seasonal displays of lush plants and vibrant flowers, and an onsite gallery, where exhibitions have ranged from Hockney to Picasso. Of course, no Vegas attraction would be complete without games of chance--try your luck at the whole range of dice, cards, and slots. The hotel offers dining experiences to match the stylish decor, and you can cap off your visit with a glitzy Vegas show or aquatic circus performance. The one thing that stands out more than anything about the Bellagio is it's design. It's outstanding. From the colourful flowers on the ceiling in the lobby - to the ever changing 'grotto' a little fu...  more »

To participate may also be visited for lunch, but compared to the previous table game minimum bed seemed to have been. Also many Chinese are concerned, piled up a lot of chips compared to a few years ago, a storm in the table even as it seemed.

Hotel is plush and tastefully decorated. Fantastic restaurants and museum (Picasso on when I went). You can even see daylight at places. The shopping is high order if that is your thing. After walking through the majority of hotels in the strip you will soon agree the Bellagio is one of the best in Vegas. No issues with food, staff or the gambling. The pools are great but note there are no water slides in case your after Disney style swimming. The pools are for relaxing. The fountains at front of the hotel are lovely at night. Oh and a great location.

You know when you build up expectations, then they are dashed? That's what happened. Our stay was off to a rocky start. Long wait to check in. Glass was discovered all over the carpet once we did check in. 3 hours of people in and out trying to clean. Overall, service was great. The suite was gorgeous, despite looking a little used. 5 bathrooms in a two bedroom suite... That rocked! Cabana by the pool was amazing. can buy happiness...well comfort at least.

Very dated now. Rooms are so so. My bed was clearly old as you could see the valleys where people slept over the years. Doesn't seem to have kept up with the times. There was a time when Bellagio was really nice. It also always smells like smoke. Like it has bled into the walls from decades of smoking. It's a constant offense that exists even when there aren't any smokers around. Many other casinos mitigate smoking quite well. The best thing about Bellagio is that it's right across the street from Paris, which has free live shows nightly.

In my opinion the best hotel in Las Vegas Strip but liked Ceases palace too. The rooms are cleaned twice per day, which is nice to see the room at its best. All the staff are very polite and friendly. Had one of my best stays in a hotel of my life. Tip: try to book a strip view.

Fantastic place, especially for young families as well. Great service, didn't disappoint. Lots of things to do here even if you're not spending the entire time gambling - flower conservatory, shopping, restaurants/eateries of all spectrum & certainly the amazing fountains. Better rooms are above level 9, especially if you want clear views of the fountains.
