  • Place is absolutely amazing. One of my favorite museums in all of LA. There are so many rare beautiful cars here, especially Porsche. I do wish they had a few far you could get in too and there wasn’t any Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, or Bugatti’s (I mean I would really like to experience those cars as well). There is a great section on Harley Davidson, Indian Motorcycles, and a few Ferrari’s. The movie cars are very cool!!
  • This place is amazing. I've always wanted to go but didn't want to pay the admission fee. Fortunately I remembered that they were a participating museum for Free Museum Day. Unlike most participating museums, free tickets needed to be booked in advance. They have the best display of automobiles that I've ever seen. I highly recommend this museum. We spent 3 hours here.
  • An INCREDIBLE selection of some of the most beautiful artwork in automobiles and related artifacts. Located on the corner of Wilshire and Fairfax Blvds, they've been rated the top automotive museum in the world - and it is a MUCH deserved accolade! If you're even remotely interested in the history or have ever just noticed how beautiful some cards are and/or are even interested in history, you owe it to yourself to go to this museum. We've been going to it for years as they're always rotating their inventory. Also, pay the extra fee for the tour to their 'vault' where they have some of the most famous (and at times infamous) cars in the world. The tour guides are great too. You can tell they love what they do.
  • Terrific place if you’re a car nut like me, and even my wife enjoyed it. There is definitely something for everyone here - and after spending four hours, which included a 90 minute vault tour, we were still mesmerized. One thing I can't recommend enough is that you should definitely purchase tickets for the vault tour ahead of time - as there are more cars in the vault than upstairs. The cars in the vault have amazing stories connected to them and are always changing. Not only will you learn about different periods of automotive history (as the tour guides are very knowledgable) but also get to see and learn about unique vehicles that are connected to historic events, famous actors, presidents, dictators and of course movies and television (because hey, it's LA!) It is worth a visit as a tourist or local of all ages - and the recent remodel made it much more engaging for kids. I can't wait to go back!
  • If you love cars or just want to see automotive art, this is your first stop. The collection changes and always includes a mix. Early automotive luxury, vehicles used in films, hot rods, foreign cars, concept cars and even a section of motorcycles. It's a wonderful stop for kids of all ages too.
