  • We took a walk to the beach, despite the cold the place had a lot of people taking advantage of the various point offered. Walking down the Boardwalk or admiring the art of many in skateboarding, it is one of the most famous tracks Venice Beach Skate Park. A lot of fun in that many enjoy the location and the beach. Interesting rent a bike or take the skates to ride in different areas. The public parking and paid.

  • Quaint but I loved it. No project developers turning this in a money machine, yet. Venice beach stopped going forward since the 80’s. It’s a curious blend of hobo’s, artists, locals, tourists, and bea...  more »

  • We enjoyed this scenery by renting an electric step so we can move a little more quickly. There were a lot of people on the boardwalk at that time. You can pass by the skating rink, muscle beach and the long beaches. If you aren't in a hurry, you can also go to Santa Monica Pier from here, but then you will definitely need some faster transportation like a step or bike.
  • Watch out for the swindlers! There is a great Henna place that is very fair. He did great work and was very friendly. He had great prices too! He said he's been there for 17 years, sadly I did not get his name. He had very interesting art in his shop too.
  • Tons of cool shops and places to get food. Oh boy, this place left me totally relaxed. I loved walking around and seeing all the shops, and then putting my toes in the sand. There are a lot of healthy options to grab a bite to eat. I recommend walking a little further to Cafe Gratitude. This place is also great for people watching.
  • Took a little family trip here with my family of four & younger brother and sister. We arrived early in the morning and unknowingly to me that this happens daily, it was a bunch of homeless people everywhere & by noon the beach totally changed into the pictures I saw while planning our mini vacation. The beach was nice but didn’t enjoy the homeless guy screaming cuss words while I walked with my 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone with young children or at least get there about 2 or 3 pm. The shops were nice and food was great I enjoyed it.
  • The World famous Venice Beach Boardwalk is not to be missed. If you are visiting the Los Angeles area, you owe it to yourself to come to Southern California’s number one visitor attraction. Stretching about one a half miles along the manicured sands of the Pacific Ocean, the boardwalk is a large part of what makes Venice unique! Rent a bike and ride as far as you can. This 2.5 kilometer boardwalk has a bike path, rollerskaters and skateboard ramps. Venice beach is also famous for muscle beach an open site gym.
