#1 of 7 in Parks in Myrtle Beach
Home to more than 10,000 creatures, Ripley's Aquarium offers interactive activities designed to teach the public about 350 different marine species. You can observe the underwater kingdom of sharks, or touch cownose and spotted eagle rays. The aquarium houses a discovery center, providing hands-on multimedia marine education classes for visitors of all ages. Don't miss a stop at the "living gallery," a presentation of undersea life that includes sea anemones, corals, jellies, octopuses, and sea dragons. • We had a great time! The sharks were our favorite! We were able to feed the stingrays and pet the jelly fish which was very exciting.  more »

  • We brought our grandson, and he loved it! Lots of beautiful marine life to see and plenty of interactive displays for the little ones. Our favorite was the mermaid show. We went up for pictures after the show and the “mermaids” were so friendly and so good with the kids. (5 stars just for that!) I saw that the average time spent at the aquarium is two hours, but we were there for about seven hours. If you’re looking for a good place to bring kids, this is it! 🧜‍♀️🐠
  • NOT worth the money! I paid the-price of admission and added the boat ride. The aquarium employee took a photo of my family at the entrance but when I went to pick up my photos they could not be found. The employee at the photo desk told me to come back tomorrow... My family and I are flying home tomorrow. The aquarium walk through exhibits were over in about 30 minutes. The hour boat ride was more like 20 minutes or less... The-underwater tunnel -and gift shop was nice. Save your money and feed the ducks and catfish on the boardwalk instead.
  • Its an aquarium. Very cool to be able to see the life wonders of the waters. Even better when you go to the area where you can actually touch some. Interesting shows for kids. Family friendly. Will definitely go back next time I'm on vacation.
  • Finally a place that took care of the parents. Great!!! I enjoyed going this time definitely better the second time. Would go again remember the upstairs play area and pearl harbor expo #Paige was a wonderful joy to chat with and a great help.
