Naples Pier, Naples

4.5
Constructed over 120 years ago, Naples Pier serves as one of the city’s main locations for sightseeing and fishing, complete with a concession stand and public restrooms. During the day, the pier is a buzzing hangout for beachgoers and fishermen, while at night people flock to witness the sunset melting into the blue horizon or to take a stroll later under the moonlight. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for dolphins while enjoying the view. Put Naples Pier on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Naples trip planning website .

  • Great to see the peir in use. The end section damaged by Irma. Repairs will cost over a million bucks. Ouch, but worth it!  more »

  • Went here for the first time this past week, and it is one of the most relaxed and beautiful piers on the west coast of Florida! Although they are doing extensive repairs at the end of the pier, it is still a great site to see if you are in the vicinity! Also the beach is great, it is not a party here and it is very family friendly. The water is warm year round, the sand is soft, and the beach is quiet and relaxing. Its the gulf, so the water is calm about 90% of the time. And they serve a quick bite to eat at the end of the pier! I'm not sure how long the construction will be going on, but it still is a site to see! There is ample parking in front of it, and also a large lot right across the street from the beach/pier. Important to note, there is no charge for entering the Pier! Many great restaurant and shops located minutes away, so if you are in the area come check it out! I cannot wait for my next visit down here, always look forward to coming to the pier for a sunset!
  • The Naples pier is beautiful place. You can watch sunset here and it is incredible. We were also able to see a dolphin swimming around the pier. White San beach is nice. There are clean restrooms and showers. Nearby parking cost $2.50 per hour. Recommend to everyone who visits Naples.
  • The Naples Pier is a truly unique place to spend a day on the beach. The water and sand was beautiful, the pier was iconic and looked like a masterpiece sprawling out into the sea. There are very nice bathrooms, relatively cheap parking spaces, and this beach's proximity to many downtown attractions and spacious nature makes it much better than Vanderbilt or many of the other beach areas in Naples in my opinion. Also, be sure to take a walk along the beach and admire some of the multi-million dollar homes along the waterfront!
  • If you visit Naples, you're going to visit the Pier. You have to; a trip to Naples is not complete without walking the Pier (preferably at sunset) at least once. The pier is almost always busy with people meandering and fishing. During season, it's filled with tourists and snow birds. It's a cute date night walk if you've had dinner downtown and it's a very photogenic location.
  • The pier is currently under construction after the hurricane. The ice cream stand is still open. There is pay parking lot about a block away. There are also a lot of restaurants within walking distance on 3rd street. This part of the beach can get very crowded, especially after Christmas.
