  • Beautiful library the architecture is breathtaking. Attention to detail it's incredible. Closes too early on Fridays for my liking but a great place. It's a library that its super crowded because most people are there to take pictures but it's part of the fun I think.
  • What a phenomenal public library to go to. So has tarak with amazing architecture in a really throws you back into the Old era of when that library would have been made. Has such a great atmosphere and is very spacious and as a great place to study or just read. If you're in the area I highly recommend this
  • This is magnificent library located right next to Bryant park with two stone lions at either side of stairway to the entrance. Its a National historic landmark. Its grandeur gives feeling of museum in itself. Large paintings and art work displayed is worth appreciating. Rooms inside lit with massive windows and grand chandeliers, furnished with sturdy woody tables, comfort chairs and brass lamps. You can get access to computers and laptops after issusing library card. Its open until 8pm
  • Beautiful building near Bryant Park. Home to the second largest public library in North America and the 4th largest in the world. At over 100 years old, it is full of history.....and books! Almost 53,000,000 (yes MILLION) books/items call this place and over three thousand people call this place work. My daughter and I loved visiting here and seeing the beautiful architecture and books.
  • Love this branch. Clean bathrooms (can't emphasize this enough- been to enough NYPL libraries to know that this branch has the best one). Great selection of books, friendly and helpful staff, good spots for studying/reading/whatever and many of the users are quiet and respectful of the space. There are a bit of tourist but they're usually quiet pleasant and quiet as well. Love coming here.
