Bought it with the package of new york pass otherwise I do not think that it is worthwhile. The view is very good but if you buy it individually is too expensive. It is equal to the empire state but much less tail. What if a minimum tail of 30 min to return due to the limited capacity of the elevators.

Nicely done building but it's really dark. Got to see the Today show being taped outside the building. Restrooms were hard to find. There is shopping here as well. Our hotel was pretty close to the Ce...  more »

always much sought after location for photos, and with nice shops around. I always like the pass on site for some pictures.

An employee told us to skip the ticket line and buy or tickets at a kiosk. Excellent tip! We got our tickets and walked through Central Park until it was time. The elevator lines went pretty quickly, it wasn't very crowded at the top. Climb the stairs to the top level to get the best views. The view is awesome! Much better than the Empire State Building.

Recent visits with relatives from abroad were quite pleasant. There is always something new to see here from art exhibits to music concerts. Of course it is also the home of the annual holiday tree. The area is also quite safe and clean. Head underground for an eclectic selection of dining and shopping options.

Top Of The Rock has the best rooftop view in NYC! Three outdoor rooftop levels with built in high power binoculars. A stunning view of Central Park and the Empire State Building. Informative film about 30 Rock while waiting for the elevator and the elevator has a glass ceiling. For a little extra they will take your group picture on the roof with all four views behind you and the pictures are available online and printed on the spot. Plus a restaurant on top floor and in the plaza. Great stores in the art deco lobby and they offer a tour of the NBC/MSNBC headquarter studios and the Today Show set. And it's all in the best part of town!

Best skyscraper experience in New York! The staff were so friendly and funny plus the elevators are an experience in their own right, there is also a bizarre 'light room' to experience... not forgetting the amazing views! Worth going at night! Preferred this over Empire State for overall enjoyment!

View was spectacular as from any higher vantage point in the city. That said, the process to 1) obtain tickets could be streamlined. Took us 50 minutes until our citypass vouchers were redeemed, and 2) the additional hour wait before provided entry made the venture less desirable than the experience we had at the Empire State Building. TOR could take a few lessons from their sister site on how to provide a better experience
