Aquatica Orlando, Orlando

Aquatica Orlando is a South Pacific-themed amusement park featuring water attractions for all ages and swimming abilities. As you slide, ride, or swim through the various areas of this park, notice the animal habitats sheltering a range of marine mammals. Don't miss the park's signature attraction, two tube slides passing through a pool containing a pod of dolphins, all of them captive-born males. To make the most of your visit, reserve a private cabana on an island right between two warm wave pools, which automatically adjust their water temperature to match the changing weather conditions. • Beautifully landscaped with some solid rides including a new family ride which looks awesome and should be opening any day now. The wave pool is fun although a bit weak compared to what I was used to at the old Wet 'n Wild which sadly closed its doors last year. The rapids river is probably the highlight of the park, very unique and enjoyable. I'm a water park enthusiast and have never seen anything like it. You can spend hours in there and not get bored. All the staff I've encountered so far have been friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating available in the beach area, this is a good place to come relax and chill out if you don't feel like driving to the real beach. Lovely atmosphere. They have a great deal going on right now where if you buy a Sea World annual pass you get a year free at Aquatica! Definitely something you want to take advantage of if you're a local before April 15 when it expires. You can also save $20 on a single day ticket if you purchase on their website 1 day in advance.
  • Fun water park. The drop tube slides are fantastic. The food was reasonably priced and was of decent quality. The wave pools are about 1/2 the size of Typhoon Lagoon and don't generate waves quite as good, so it would be better four smaller kids. The slide through the dolphin pool is cool and the lazy river is cool. This park is not for young kids, especially if they are not strong swimmers or are daring...
  • Yes its a little dated and needs updating. But the slides are great, the beaches are clean and there's loads of things to have fun doing. They are updating rides and slides slowly, as money doesn't grow on palm trees and they have been hit hard with the Sea World haters. There are just one or two animals for you to see here, nothing to get worked up about and besides, the rides are brilliant, just have fun and let loose and wait until the wave pool starts so you can lay in the shallows and let the water gently lap over you. Pure bliss.
  • Lots of stuff to do here for the whole family! Young & old alike will have a great time at this park! Went with just my husband the first time, but can't wait to go back with the kids- they're gonna love it! Highly recommend if you're looking to beat the heat & have a day the whole family can enjoy!
  • Beautiful place and the animals are so looked after and cared for. Really enjoyed our visits and there was always plenary to do. The only downside is the food is very expensive now. So we are before we went. The shows were excellent, especially the cats and dogs one so funny. Well worth going.
