Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Orlando

4.5
Cool off with a relaxing dip in one of the world's largest outdoor wave pools at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. As one of two aquatic parks at Walt Disney World Resort, the complex offers an array of water attractions ranging from gentle wading pools to exhilarating thrill rides. Speed down five stories at almost 64 km/h (40 mph) on the Humunga Kowabunga waterslide, or take a chance snorkeling with dozens of sharks and stingrays at Shark Reef. Feel free to pack your own lunch, or stop by one of the park’s many outdoor eateries. Arrive sooner rather than later in terms of both lines and temperatures. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Orlando Edition.

  • I always feel like I'm in a tropical paradise. Very relaxing and I love all the sand. The wave pool is intense though. Would recommend to all families!  more »

  • Beautiful water park. Scenery is gorgeous. Kids had a blast and mom and dad soaked it up in the lazy river. The park was not overcrowded so that was a plus. Towel rental is only $2 but the small locker was $10. A bit pricey when you consider the fact you paid $62 bucks each to get in the joint. You can and should bring your own cooler, since food and beverages are at standard MOUSE pricing.
  • 1. The Staff: the staff are always great. They are Always very approachable and helpful and friendly. 2. Cleanliness: This water park is Always very clean. Not a spot of dirt anywhere. 3. Food: There is a good selection of food and drink. 4. Prices: i find some things to be reasonable and some other things a bit pricy 5. Car Parking: there is a big car park. 6. Others: 10/10 simply amazing. There are lockers for your clothes 7. Complaints: the waiting in lines can be very tiring especially in the sun.
  • Typhoon Lagoon was amazing!!!! The wave pool and family raft rides were the best! Food was good, not too crowded and we just walked onto all of the rides! No waiting. The staff were so friendly and we can’t wait to come back in a few years to visit! I wish we had a place like this in PA! Thanks Disney! We made some incredible memories this week on our honeymoon ❤️
  • Best wave pool in the world, you will LOVE it! Gotta wait for the big wave and enjoy it. Great to bring your kids, slides are ok, service great as usual on all Disney parks and hotels. Food little pricey, lots of places to sit if u get they on early, you can also rent umbrella place for $42 and get private seating for up to 4 people. Will definitely recommend it.
  • This is a wonderful park! We went 2 days. One day at 4 and one day at 9:30 am. I recommend going at 9:30 am. We found good parking and were able to ride all the rides. My children are 5, 7, 7, and 11. Our whole family loved the experience. The rides were very fun and very kid friendly. My 5 year old daughter was able to get on just about everything and loved it. The wave pool was very cool! It was a nice hang out spot with an exciting wave every 10 minutes. The park was very clean. There was an attended cleaning the bathroom at all times. The showers in the bathroom had soap to wash your body. This was an all around GREAT water park!
