  • My husband is a private pilot and wanted to see. I would not have gone had it not been for him but sure would have been missing out! The National Aviation Museum is awesome!! Our kids range from 4 to 14 and it was a hit with every one of them. We finished up the day with a late lunch at the cafe. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating. This is a true national treasure!
  • The museum is a tribute to the men and women who have and are serving this great nation. If you are ever in the area, be sure to check it out. The price is right, FREE. Also if you enjoy light houses they also have one there. There is a fee to go up the stairs though. There's also a great beach you can check out when you're there.
  • This museum is super impressive. The sheer amount to excellent exhibits and airplanes is staggering. If you really wanted to look at everything and read everything it would take at least a week. God bless our servicemen and the amazing aircraft that allow them to accomplish their duties safely!
  • Went on memorial day with 3 of our kids 10-21 years old. It was great for the whole family. Also free to visit. So much to see and learn. Take the time to read about the planes. They do ask for i.d. for 16+. We did not sample to food. Wear comfortable shoes and have fun, learning about our awesome history.
  • The Smithsonian could take a lesson from this place. Everything is so well kept. There wasn't an inch of dust on everything. So much to see, and you can get close enough to see every part in an engine. The people working there are very friendly. All around we had a fantastic experience. Thank you.
