AT&T Park, San Francisco

To see how a major baseball stadium functions behind the scenes, take a tour of AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. This ballpark is renowned for its views of the San Francisco Bay, best appreciated from the highest seats. Located downtown, the stadium is easily accessible from almost anywhere in the city by public bus or train. Game tickets may be difficult to come by late in the season, but you can always explore the dugout, clubhouse, press box, and the batting cage on a private tour. For a free look at a few innings, stand under the archways stretching along the stadium's waterfront promenade. AT&T Park is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, San Francisco Edition.

  • I liked the park location. There could have been a little more variety of food to buy. While the seats were good, the person sitting next to me was quite big and I was sort of squished into my seat. H...  more »
  • Despite the rain season. The size and grandeur of the stadium is great. We wish to stop by once.

  • My sister and I did a 5k run/walk that began outside the stadium and ended on the field itself. It was awesome to sit on the outfield and take pictures, but we got to go into the dugout and sit on the...  more »

  • I may be a little biased but this Ball Park may be the best one out here. With an amazing view AT&T park is located in a lively neighborhood full of bars and restaurants to pregame at. The stadium itself is gorgeous. It is clean, safe and well maintained. It helps create the perfect game day vibe. The food is great but my favorite is the Chicken strips with garlic fries paired with a chilled glass of bear. Tip: It gets super cold out here so make sure to carry a jacket if not a blanket.
  • The park is very cool to look at and as I understand it it is also a very cool place to watch a baseball game. not only. But it's a very nice place just to walk around as there is a large Boardwalk around the entire building the back half of which is adjacent to the Bay. There is a section that looks right out on the field so people can watch a game even if they couldn't get afford tickets
  • While visiting SF my husband and I went on a tour of Giants stadium... And really fell in love. Our tour guide was so passionate about the team and definitely passed that on to us. Especially around the holidays make your reservations for the tour in advance. You can pick up tickets at the Dugout store even just a few minutes before your tour starts. (Go upstairs, in the back) I know that the Mets will always be my #1, but the Giants have a wonderful stadium, fans and I'd definitely go back for a visit.
  • New stadium built to traditional ball park standards rather than a modern architectural designed stadium. It is more of an old fashion, community based smaller - open concept stadium. More intimate experience.
  • I went here to see Lady Gaga perform. Even though out tickets were in the nose bleed section, we could still see the stage pretty clearly. It's so lovely that it's right on the water. The prices for food and drinks was pretty much outrageous. Other than that, not a bad venue.
