  • Very nice park! Smelly near the water but very very nice! We stayed at the Country Inn and Suites which was a perfect location. Short walk or very short drive. Stopped in the very nice visitor center ...  more »

  • This park was a fun stop on a long road trip, on the way back home from Canada, Glacier Nat. Park, Badlands Nat. Park, etc. If from out of town, as we were, this seems like the best historic spot in Sioux Falls. A series of cascading waterfalls among a large jumble of red rock formations makes for a great city park to relax a bit and stretch outside the car. There are also interpretive signs explaining the falls natural formations and the human history surrounding the early founding of this small city. It is also nearby downtown where a good selection of lively restaurants offer some more rest and refueling. I recommend stopping by this city park for a little while.
  • This is a great place to take your kids and your pet on a leash of course. Our kids love going here and seeing the falls and getting pictures taken amongst the beautiful scenery. There is also an observation tower you can go up to see the falls from high above, it's free to go and they have a gift shop below! Great exercise for the whole family!! Highly recommend seeing this little piece of beauty of you are in Sioux Falls!
  • Visited this park after a snow storm with my two dogs. The paths had been cleared off so nicely. I never slipped while on the path which helped me enjoy the beautiful scenery. The only thing that could have made it better was warmer weather. But it was well worth the lost feeling in my face to walk around this park.
  • Great place to get your photo taken it is absolutely gorgeous in the middle of summer. There is so much you can do out at the falls and so much that can be explored. It is also nice to take your kids to watch the animals or skip rocks. Just a laid back kind of place and most everyone that I know that has gone has had a good time.
  • Falls Park is definitely taken for granted by locals. It is a very beautiful place and a great for a nice walk. It is very peaceful early in the morning. It can get a little "peoply", but you can definitely avoid that. Go check it out!
