  • Steamboat is definitely a family friendly well appointed ski village. I cannot give the mountain high marks for advanced terrain but it would be unfair to fully judge the mountain as there was has been very little snow this season to date. We skied with early season conditions and countless slope closures which lead to a crowded hill and very limited options. My assessment is the blacks are much closer to blues. Still a great place for skiers who stick to the runs and for families of various skill levels. The service at the slopes is first class. Employees are helpful and friendly. All amenities you would expect from a nice resort. I recommend but if you are looking for more expert terrain go to Snowbird.
  • Great Village. Many local small restaurants around the resort. Perfect skiing during the winter season. Well developed ski lift system allows access to trails even when far away. Longer trails and bigger, more picturesque spots, makes for skiing with few interruptions and more variety. The resort, while relatively inexpensive, requires a car to get around the village, as the village is spread-out. A shuttle must be taken to the mountain when going skiing as well. To accommodate for the large distance from the village, the resort should offer more inclusive dining and entertainment options. I hope this may be considered in the future, it would help with convenience!
  • This place is the best.. it's way better than any resort back east and there's terrain for every skill level. It's a great place for beginners as well as experts looking for some nice powder or tree skiing. Hell yeah
  • Had an amazing time on the mountain this weekend!!! From fireworks to the Outlaw Coaster everything was spectacular. The employees were all so nice and helpful. Everyone had a great attitude. Thank you Steamboat Ski Resort employees. You are working hard and it is appreciated.
  • When we went the conditions were not the best, but that happens in Colorado sometimes and is not the fault of the resort. The feel of the resort is upscale and the restaurants and bars were all good, but slightly expensive. The only thing I did not like was the general attitude of the people in the area. We encountered a lot of rude people, more than most places I've visited. That said, we had a great time and enjoyed the scenery and accommodations. I would come back when they have more snow!
