Playa Escondida, Fajardo

This beach is beautiful and worth the hike. You might see some other fun sights on the way to it as well, like hundreds of little crabs running to their holes or pretty birds lazing in a pond. Swimming seems to be prohibited, but we saw children in the water. It seemed calm when we went.

Beautiful South Sandy Beach, be very careful swimming as a lot of people drowned here in a Riptide but depending on the weather it could be very calm just use your common sense. Please also bring a trash bag and take everything that you left leaving no Trace behind to maintain this beautiful beach as it is. There are a bunch of jerks who leave big trash bags full of junk there and this is not cool. There is no trash service coming through here so please don't destroy the beach:-)
