Very pretty and the area is well kept. Vieques is full of wild horses and many are attracted to the tree because it's roots hold water, but be careful of them. Many locals and guides mentioned that if disturbed they can kick and bite, saw some tourists attempt to touch them anyways and almost got kicked for bothering the horses. Vieques hospital is not that comprehensive, especially after the horrible hurricane, so avoiding horse related injuries would be for the best.
Great spot to stop on the way to Punta Arenas beach. Amazing specimen and a wonderful spot for a few great pictures. Stop in if you’re in the area.
