  • An amazing experience. Historically and culturally enriching.
  • The hurricane did some damage, but the sacred site still stands and they are open for tourism. The museum is tiny, but informative. (I feel the size is a reflection of a lost culture and all that we know about it can fit into a large closet.) The staff are friendly and bilingual. The fees are cheap. Too cheap. There is a gift shop upstairs with affordable souvenirs, including books, jewelry, bags, etc. The young woman in the gift shop was incredibly informative! *the cafe' across the street has super delicious, healthy snacks! As well as adventurous tours/activities they'll set up for you. I recommend.
