Create an itinerary including Paseo de la Princesa
Take a relaxing stroll along the beautiful Paseo de la Princesa, the city's ocean-front promenade. Stop and peruse the wares of artisan vendors and try some of the foods available. Observe the wonderful architecture, palm-lined walkways, and sculpted fountains. In the evenings, local musicians come out to play for dancing revelers. If you head out in the midday sun, bring a lot of water and a sun hat, as promenade offers little in the way of shade. Put Paseo de la Princesa at the forefront of your travel plans using our San Juan journey planner.

  • Lots of historical landmarks to visit as well as lots of great shopping and restaurants! This was the starting point for us and we explored the area from there. Bring sunblock! :)

  • Nice for a walk and to check out some local vendors. Provides some shade on a hot day as well. Leads to the path that goes to the gate as well as El Morrow
