  • Registered on the National Register of Historic Places. It has two impressive facades (north and south) to which more beautiful. It stands out its wide marble staircase on the south side towards Ponce de León Avenue in front of the Paseo de los Presidentes. Accessed through inter-column Corinthian inputs. Seven symbolic gates give access to the interior from north and south, each showing a tilling on its lintel and the name of each of the seven senatorial districts in which the island was divided at the time of the opening of the Capitol. Other details of the building are two terraces to the east and west, marble floors and balustrades. It is worth the visit to its free interior.

  • Impressive historic building, made of marbles of different origin. It is one of the typical buildings of Puerto Rico with a lot of history

  • We visited this during the Old Town tour. Very impressive building from both front and rear. Interesting to look at from the outside anyway, lovely architectural and stonework. Unfortunately we didn’t had the chance to get inside for a quick visit as I seen so many reviews from the tourist which did that and said it absolutely amazing. A must see while in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
  • Beautiful building with a lot of history behind it. Great place to visit on your next trip to Puerto Rico
