Orlando to Crystal River is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Orlando in January, plan for a bit cooler nights in Crystal River, with lows around 45°F. You'll set off for Crystal River on the 11th (Mon).
