First Eastern National Park

The first national park east of the Mississippi River, Acadia National Park draws visitors with its rugged landscape of ocean shoreline, low-slung granite mountains, dense woodlands, and pristine lakes.
On the 31st (Fri), explore the activities along Jordan Pond Path Trailhead, then look for gifts at Quiet Side Cafe & Ice Cream Shop, and then grab your bike and head to Carriage Roads. On the 1st (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Cadillac Mountain and then take a memorable drive along Park Loop Road.
