Bangor is a city along the Penobscot River in the U.S. state of Maine. Explore Bangor's surroundings by going to Bar Harbor (Ocean Path & Shore Path), Mount Battie (in Camden) and Acadia National Park (Thunder Hole & Sand Beach). There's still lots to do: explore the different monuments and memorials at Mount Hope Garden Cemetery, grab your bike and head to Bangor City Forest, don't miss a visit to Stephen King's House, and see the interesting displays at Cole Land Transportation Museum.
