Start off your visit on the 19th (Fri): explore the striking landscape at Glacier Point, then take in the dramatic natural features at Sentinel Dome, then take in the dramatic scenery at Vernal Fall, and finally take in the awesome beauty at Cathedral Beach Picnic Area. You can do a combination of flight and car from Los Angeles to Yosemite National Park in 4.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of flight and bus. Traveling from Los Angeles in July, plan for cooler nights in Yosemite National Park, with lows around 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 20th (Sat) early enough to drive to San Francisco.
