Cambria is a seaside village in San Luis Obispo County, California, United States midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles along California State Route 1 (Highway 1). Take a break from the city and head to Morro Strand State Beach and William Randolph Hearst Memorial Beach. Discover out-of-the-way places like artifacts gallery and Hearst Ranch Winery. Explore Cambria's surroundings by going to Los Osos (Elfin Forest Preserve & Sweet Springs Nature Preserve). There's still lots to do: view the masterpieces at Ephraim Pottery West Gallery, admire the majestic nature at Leffingwell Landing, examine the collection at Coastal Discovery Center at San Simeon Bay (Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary), and learn about winemaking at Epoch Estate Wines.

Indianapolis to Cambria is an approximately 12-hour combination of flight and bus. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Pacific Standard Time (PST), which is usually a -3 hour difference. When traveling from Indianapolis in July, plan for somewhat warmer days and a bit cooler nights in Cambria: temperatures range from 94°F by day to 56°F at night. Carmel-by-the-Sea, often simply called Carmel, is a city in Monterey County, California, United States, founded in 1902 and incorporated on October 31, 1916. Start off your visit on the 9th (Tue): browse the exhibits of Carmel Mission, then take a stroll through Ocean Avenue, and then play a few rounds at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: trek along Scenic Road Walkway, then shop like a local with Gallery by the Sea Carmel, then enjoy the sand and surf at Lovers Point, and finally admire the architecture and history at San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo Mission.

Expect cooler weather when traveling from Cambria in July: highs in Carmel hover around 69°F, while lows dip to 55°F. Fort Bragg is a coastal city along State Route 1 in Mendocino County, California. On the 11th (Thu), stop by Gallery Bookshop & Bookwinkle's Children's Books, view the masterpieces at Highlight Gallery, then contemplate the long history of Ford House Museum, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Noyo Headlands Park, and finally kick back and relax at Pudding Creek Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: look for all kinds of wild species at Jug Handle State Reserve, then learn about winemaking at Handley Cellars Winery, and then do a tasting at Navarro Vineyards.
