Hernando to Chattanooga is an approximately 7.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of car and flight. In July, daily temperatures in Chattanooga can reach 90°F, while at night they dip to 71°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 18th (Sat) to allow time for the car ride to Gatlinburg.
